Hello!
My name is Katarzyna Woźniak. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Currently, I am an assistant professor at the Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Rzeszów.
My current research is focused on sculpture as a form of multisensory organization of multidimensional space (physical, mental, psychological and symbolic). I also research sculpture as an autonomous object being a form of pure artistic expression.
I analyze selected journals, books, environments and works of art in the field of synesthesia. In addition to that, the environment of blind and deaf people is also my field of study.
My artist strategy assumes that works of art are not only for aesthetic or decoration purposes but also should create, build and change the world for the better.
